Vicano Breaks Ground on new Expositor Building
Vicano Construction Limited broke ground April 16th on the new building for The Expositor located at the corner of Wayne Gretzky Parkway and Henry Street.
The official ground breaking marks a new era for the Expositor after the difficult decision was made to leave the downtown which served as their home for the past 114 years . Their old landmark home on Dalhousie Street no longer served the newspaper as a functional office space. A modern and efficient building was required in order to keep competitive in today’s newspaper industry.
The new location offers unlimited parking to the Expositor staff, quick highway accessibility to the hwy 403, as well as a modern 1 storey barrier free office building, with loading dock and warehouse. The state of the art office space will be professionally designed to suit the inner workings of a newspaper company complete with fiber optics data communications, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, and modern interior finishes.
Completion of the building will be Fall 2010.
For any inquiries or information on leasing space in this building please call Paul Vicano: (519) 759-4120
