Moksha Yoga Brantford
Vicano completed the leasehold improvements to this design-build construction management 4,700 SF Unit with a strict deadline of September 1st 2015. Vicano completed entire design and complete construction between June 15th 2015 and August 31st 2015!
The project included a temperature and humidity controlled-environment “Hot Room”, designed to create a radiant heated space of 100 degrees F, and a relative humidity level of 40% at all times. The Hot Yoga room was a success and is boasting new clientele every day.
The remainder of the space included architectural design features such as: finished bulkheads throughout, acid stained concrete floors, open ceilings throughout, and much more.
The complex nature of the Expositor Building’s mechanical past provided significant challenges when it came to tying into the main services. It was required to extend exhaust venting and gas piping through the common areas & tenant held spaces which required careful, clean and calculated work to ensure the areas were not contaminated with dirt and debris after construction was completed.
