Tim Horton Memorial Camp Expansion – Parry Sound, ON

The Tim Horton Memorial Camp is the Foundation’s first camp, it was established in 1975 and is located just outside of Parry Sound. In the Fall of 2008 it was time for a renovation! Vicano was brought on board as Construction Managers for this this extensive expansion completed over the winter while the camp was not in session.

Included was the construction of a new 4,500 sq ft two storey Bunkhouse and a 2,500 sq ft addition on to the existing Ontario House – Main Lodge. Other highlights of the project included all new paved walkways and roads, a new 1,200 sq ft. water treatment facility, and new Septic System for the entire camp.

The tight schedule left no room for error, and Vicano did not disappoint. The children arrived in July as planned, and the expansion was clearly a success.
